Recovering Lost Wages From Your PIP- Part 2

Continued from Part One in How to Recover Lost Wages from PIP

calendarpage

To receive your lost wages under your PIP benefits there are forms that have to be filled out. These forms take time and the PIP adjuster has thirty (30) days to get you a check for your lost wages once it’s been presented to them. These thirty (30) days can be very difficult for victims of auto accidents and other types of auto related injuries, due to the fact that they are going thirty (30) days without receiving any income and that will make it very difficult for them to pay their bills.  However, Florida law does give the PIP adjusters thirty (30) to pay once the bill has been received by them. Thus, it is important for your attorney to submit these bills as soon as possible. They cannot submit these bills without your assistance.

It would be strongly recommended that you get the proper documentation to your personal injury attorney as soon as possible so that you can recover your lost wages promptly and before they are exhausted by your medical bill payments.
